World Breastfeeding Week

World Breastfeeding Week was celebrated with exhilarating excitement and active engagement, featuring various activities designed to promote breastfeeding awareness. 

The event kicked off on the 6th August 2024 with an inspiring opening by Professor Dato’ Dr. Abdul Rahsid Khan, the Dean of RUMC. 

The event featured insightful talks by Associate Professor Wai Cheng Foong on Kangaroo Mother Care and Associate Professor Dr Tan May Loong on the history and importance of breastfeeding awareness. 

Attendees enjoyed participating in the interactive booths of fun games, educational demonstrations on breastfeeding techniques, and informative displays. 

The excitement continued the next day at Sepoy Café with lively Kahoot quizzes, creating a memorable and educational experience for all participants.
