The Class of 2024 Graduation Ball
Held at the Courtyard by Marriot on June 7th 2024, the venue was transformed into this year’s Grad Ball theme: The Metamorphosis. This milestone was a day dedicated to celebrating the achievements, hard work and a trip down memory lane of our graduating seniors.
The night was filled with speeches, heartfelt performances and delicious dinner prepared by the hotel. The seniors also had the opportunity to reminisce over some pictures and videos of their time together. In addition to that, “the most likely” award was also given to the seniors who won based on the nomination made by their colleagues.
Performers for the night were:
– Beh Ming Phing performing “When We Were Young” by Adele
– Allyna Loo performing “In The Stars” by Benson Boone
– Zharfan and Aliff performing “As The World Caves In” by Matt Maltese
– Amanina Shahzan performing “Always” by Danial Caesar
– Eva Natasha and Nik Myra Sofea performing “Monokrom” by Tulus
Awards that were given out were:
– Most athletic student of the year: Affzan binti Musa
– The class clown of the year: Amalyn Soraya Azman
– Most likely to go a week without a shower: Muhammad Syamil Saiful Amry
– Most Likely to Drink More Than 3 Cups of Coffee a Day: Ming Phing
– Life of the party: Eion Brian Towle
– Best chef: Nadhira Mohd Salim
The graduation ball was a testament to the bonds formed, the challenges they overcame and the bright futures ahead.
What a night it was. Filled with joy, laughters , and a few tears were the Class of 2024 bids farewell to their time at RUMC.
