The Class of 2024 Graduation Ball

All the many years of hard work by the students of Class 2024 have led up to their conferring ceremony held on the 9th of June at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel. 

It was truly a day to remember; full of celebration, gratitude and relief. The event was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Che Puan Muda Zaheeda Binti Mohamed Ariff, Consort to the Crown Prince of Kedah who was the Guest of Honor for the ceremony. 

Many awards recognising the special efforts of the students were given out; 

  • Class of 2024 Valedictorian: Dr Felicia Chong Jeng Eu
  • The Dean’s Award: Dr Keesha Ravintharan
  • First place in Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT): Dr Beh Ming Phing
  • First place in Medicine and Public Health: Dr Felicia Chong Jeng Eu
  • First place in Obstetrics and Gynaecology: Dr Hup Jia Sern
  • First place in Paediatrics: Dr Norhaslina Azlin Binti Hassan
  • First place in Psychiatry and Ophthalmology: Dr Nik Myra Sofea binti Gamal Adlan
  • First place in Family Medicine: Dr Wee Jing Yu
  • First Place in Forensic and Legal Medicine: Dr Rabiah Ibrahim Bahemia
  • First place in Emergency Medicine: Dr Khor Eu May
  • First place in Radiology: Dr Danial Syamim bin Onn

After receiving their awards and certificate, the newly-conferred Doctors then went on to bask in the limelight with their loved ones; creating memories that they will look back upon with fondness for many years to come. 

As one chapter closes another opens just as quickly; on behalf of RUMCSA and everyone in RUMC, we wholeheartedly congratulate everyone on fulfilling their dreams of becoming a Doctor, and we wish you the best of luck in the path you decide to follow in the future!
