RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) extends its warmest congratulations to the Director General (DG) of Health, YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Dr Noor Hisham bin Abdullah for being awarded the Tan Sri Title on August 17, 2020. Tan Sri Datuk Dr Noor Hisham has been a prominent leader in the healthcare industry and has now become the face of Malaysia in the battle against COVID-19 outbreak. His dedication and commitment in this role is a quality to look up to.
RUMC would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Tan Sri’s admirable support during the launch of the Malaysia-Ireland Training Programme for Family Medicine (MInTFM).
He also graced the visit to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, to University College Dublin and to both the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and iheed in Ireland, along with RUMC and MoH officials in June 2019, before the official launch of MInTFM.

On 21 st of October 2019, Tan Sri represented the Ministry of Health Malaysia and signed a Malaysia-Ireland partnership with RUMC at an official launch ceremony. The partnership enabled RUMC, Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and iheed in Ireland to establish a new pathway for postgraduate Family Medicine training doctors in Malaysia.
