Building on over 400 years of excellence in medical education, we continue the high standards of the Dublin programmes.

This unique opportunity allows you to experience the best of both worlds: high-quality medical sciences and pre-clinical training in Dublin, followed by an outstanding clinical training programme in Penang, the only Irish Foreign Branch Campus in the region. The curriculum from RCSI and UCD sets students apart as clinically distinguished graduates, competent and confident to begin the challenging houseman years in Malaysia or globally.

Upon graduation from RUMC, students are conferred with an internationally recognised medical degree from the National University of Ireland (NUI). This unique approach to medical education ensures a seamless transition between the academic and clinical aspects of training, setting students on a path to becoming globally competent and distinguished medical professionals. With a network of over 2100 alumni worldwide, our graduates are known as high-performing doctors serving in the healthcare industry in the US, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Canada.
