How To Apply
Once you have decided to pursue a programme with us, follow these simple steps outlined below to complete your online application;
The submission of an application takes approximately 20 minutes should you have the required documentation and relevant information ready.
Once submitted, it will take 3 to 5 working days to process your application. However, it may take up to 2 weeks to process during the peak application period.

What’s Next for FIS Applicants?
- Upon successful processing of the application, you will be issued an offer (either provisional or firm)
- You will have to accept the offer and proceed to make the deposit payment
- You will then be enrolled into RUMC
If you are applying to our Medicine programme, here is what happens after the submission of your application:
- Upon successful processing of your application, you will receive an email from RUMC Admission to invite to you for an interview session.
- Once the interview is complete, you will receive another email from RUMC Admissions informing you about the outcome of the session along with an offer (either Provisional or Firm)
- Upon accepting the offer letter, you would need to proceed in making a deposit payment.
- You will receive an allocation email from RUMC Admissions to indicate your enrolment into RCSI or UCD for your pre-clinical years.
- A pre-departure orientation will be held to provide a briefing for the students.
- RUMC students will then depart for Dublin with their cohorts and official enrol themselves into RCSI or UCD.
Attention to applications from the European Union (EU):
Please note that as a general rule, RUMCÂ CANNOTÂ accept applicants who are eligible for the Central Applications Office (CAO). However, we do review applicants on a case-to-case basis.
